Built by the people who run it
MailThreatZero is operated by mspreboot.com, an infrastructure and managed-services operator. The gateway was originally built for domains we manage directly and carries our own production mail every day. The commercial service is now accepting evaluation partners. During an evaluation, participants work directly with the engineers who build and operate the platform.
Why we built it
The reasoning behind per-domain pricing, explainable decisions and bring-your-own AI — including where those choices cost us something.
Why it exists
Two problems, both practical.

You cannot explain a verdict you cannot see
When a customer’s invoice goes missing, “our spam filter caught it” is not an answer anyone can act on. We wanted the score from every scanning stage on every message, so a decision could be explained and, when it was wrong, corrected.

Per-mailbox pricing punishes the wrong thing
Protecting a 200-person organization is not eight times the work of protecting a 25-person one, but per-user licensing bills it that way. Pricing per protected domain more closely matches what the gateway actually does.
How we work
- Operator
- mspreboot.com, which runs infrastructure and managed services including mail platforms, and operates MailThreatZero as a managed service.
- Direct access
- Evaluation partners and future customers work directly with the engineers who build and operate the platform. A question about a filtering decision is answered by someone who can inspect the record behind it rather than passing it through several support tiers.
- Run in production
- MailThreatZero filters our own production mail every day. The technology is operating in a real mail flow, while independent customer validation is still being established through guided evaluations.
- Built multi-tenant
- Tenants, domains, policy and quarantine were separate from the first version, because the platform was built to protect a portfolio of customer domains rather than a single organization.
- Support
- Email support is included with every protected domain. Service-impacting mail-flow issues, widespread false positives, and suspected security incidents receive priority handling.
- Contact
- Everything goes through the contact form — sales, support and security reports are routed by the topic you choose.
