Components
Each row is checked against the service that provides it — the process is queried and, where it listens on a port, the port is connected to. A web server returning a page is not treated as evidence that mail is being accepted.

Customer-configured integrations
AI analysis, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace integrations run on accounts you hold, against services we do not operate. We deliberately do not show a status indicator for them: a green light here would be a claim about somebody else's platform that we have no way to substantiate, and a customer acting on it during their provider's outage would be worse off for having read it.
Those providers publish their own status pages, which are the authoritative source for their availability. What we can tell you is whether our side of the integration is running, which is covered by the Management Console and API rows above.
Which integrations exist, and what each one requires, is on the feature status page.

How this page works
The component list is served statically so that this page still renders if the application is unavailable. Live state is read from the gateway's own status endpoint when the page loads.
A limitation worth stating: that endpoint runs on the gateway, so if the gateway is completely unreachable this page cannot report on it — the rows will show as unknown rather than as an outage.
